Nationally known for its affordable, high-quality original artwork, the River Festival's Fine Art and Craft Show features more than 130 artists from across the country. Artists love talking to experienced patrons as well as first-time collectors.
This one-day, outdoor, juried art fair features about 50 fine artists from the region; live jazz music throughout the day; children's art activities; food trucks; Lenexa Farmers Market vendors; and tasting featuring local wine, craft beer and spirits.
The 2024 Brookside Art Annual is Kansas City’s first outdoor art show of the year, attracts top artists, is a favorite for many buyers and arts enthusiasts and is ranked amongst the best in the nation each year.
The Lawrence Art Guild’s Members’ Show highlights and recognizes a wide range of talented members, bringing together a dynamic cross-section of artists, diverse in medium and degree of establishment. Members range from emerging artists to established and international artists, from painters and photographers to sculptors and mixed media artists.

Art in the Park is a fine arts and crafts event that is held in beautiful shade-filled South Park (12th and Massachusetts) on the south end of vibrant downtown Lawrence, Kansas.
The largest visual art show that exclusively showcases Kansas City-regional artists’ work.

“Food for the Soul,” a solo show in the Healing Arts Collaborative series with Lawrence Memorial Hospital and Lawrence Art Center, explores literal interpretations of food and nourishing visions of nature.
This exhibition seeks to look at food in a different way.

The Lawrence Art Guild is a non-profit dedicated to promoting community artists and has been a staple for artists in the Lawrence community since 1962.
The Lenexa Art Fair is the perfect outing to celebrate all things artisan.
Food and print have a delicious history. From engraved botanical diagrams to Pop Art’s screen-printed commercial grocery items, printmaking methods have been used to represent food for scientific inquiry, advertising, artistic appeal, and more.
Artists from Lawrence and beyond participate in the Edible Ink Print Exchange. This food-themed exchange happens in conjunction with the Souper Bowl fundraising event. Edible Ink will be on display in the Lower Lobby starting on Jan. 27.
Proceeds from sales will benefit the Arts Center’s Visual Arts Education programs.

State of the Arts is one of four of Prairie Village Arts Council's annual juried arts exhibitions. Works include all 2D and 3D media except photography. The show is typically open weekdays during the months of September and October except on federal holidays from 8am - 5pm. I have two works in the show, and one of them “In Common” won an award of merit.

As the second oldest art show in Kansas City, we have an established footprint in the artist community showcasing artists both local and from all over the country. The community, Prairie Village, is not located on a prairie but in the heart of the wonderful growing metro of Kansas City.
The Shops of Prairie Village host 100 artists every year and attracts patrons from the entire Kansas City Metropolitan area. Our charming and welcoming shopping center was developed by the same brains that built The Country Club Plaza, the location of the Plaza Art Show.
Over 15,000 people attend the Prairie Village Art Show over the action-packed weekend. The Prairie Village Art Show is an annual event not-to-be-missed!

Created in 2010 to celebrate Hallmark’s centennial, Hallmarket has steadily grown into one of KC’s best art festivals. This community-favorite event at Crown Center Square highlights the artistry of current Hallmark employees and retirees, as well. Organizers are expecting more than 100 booths this year, and the artists will all be on-site for the event, so you can chat with each creator about their work! This celebration of creativity and togetherness runs from 10am to 5pm, Saturday, May 14th, and features live music performances, local food and drink vendors and other fun activities. Admission is free.

Kansas City Stockyards Gallery is located in the Livestock Exchange Building 1600 Genesee Street. Enter the parking lot and back door of the building.

Reception is free and open to the public. Artists are encouraged to attend. Reception will follow public health guidelines, requiring masks and total number of people in the gallery will be limited. The gallery is located in the beautiful, historic Livestock Exchange Building and there will be plenty of overflow space to keep everyone comfortable.
