Food and print have a delicious history. From engraved botanical diagrams to Pop Art’s screen-printed commercial grocery items, printmaking methods have been used to represent food for scientific inquiry, advertising, artistic appeal, and more.
Artists from Lawrence and beyond participate in the Edible Ink Print Exchange. This food-themed exchange happens in conjunction with the Souper Bowl fundraising event. Edible Ink will be on display in the Lower Lobby starting on Jan. 27.
Proceeds from sales will benefit the Arts Center’s Visual Arts Education programs.
